Thanks for all the prayers for my surgery. Please continue to pray for complete healing and energy as we are trying to pack and stage our home to go on the market in June. Would also appreciate prayer for my husband who must go before a special Army board in July to determine if he will remain on active duty. Should he be released from active duty, he would not get his full retirement pay until he turns 65 (17 years from now). We would appreciate prayers for God's will in our move to Richmond and in John's career. He mother lives in Richmond and is in failing health, so we feel this move is coming at the right time. Please pray for exactly the right school and the right neighborhood for our son, who is going into middle school next year.
Brian will be having cervical spine surgery (disc fusions) on Monday, May 13th at Prince William Hospital in Manassas. Pray for him and the guidance of the surgeon in that it could possibly affect his vocal cords. Also, request for prayer for his sister, Belinda, who will be having a knee replacement in Fairfax on Tuesday, May 14th.
Please pray for Greg and Joyce Hewitt as they both continue to recover and heal from health issues. Joyce is feeling somewhat better but not fully restored.
Please pray for wisdom as we make a decision about college for our daughter.
Please pray for Tim (relatively new to CBC) as he starts his journey again with the Lord. Pray for health, spiritual faithfulness, employment, and medical wisdom. Pray that He would receive God's strength for the jouney.

Please pray that the windows of heaven will be opened and that God will pour out His blessings on CBC; that those who need the Lord will hear His voice and will turn over their lives; that those who are facing a battle in their lives will be strengthened and will be able to release it into the hands of the Father.

Steve Taylor's younger brother, Danny was taken to the hospital earlier tonight unresponsive. He suffered a bleeding. He died short after arriving at the hospital. He was a believer, and helped in leading Steve to the Lord. He was 43 years old and has two young adult daughters.
I have a neighbor that lives right across the street from us . His name is Don Johnson . Don's wife just passed away a week ago with liver cancer . Her name was Louise . This is Don's ( 2 nd ) second wife that passed away due to cancer . Don is in his early 70's and is retired .
Please pray for God's piece and comfort upon Don Johnson , as he deals with his loss of his wife .Also , pray that God will show Diane & I how we can minister to Don , now and in the future . Don Johnson & his deceased wife are " christians " .
One of my customers Mike Howell's daughter-in-law Alice is in VCU hospital with an infection that will not go away. Also pray for her husband as he has his hands full with family of 4 little ones to care for and work. Ask God for healing and peace.

Prayer for Charles Miller. In recovery from cancer treatment and is having difficulty walking again. He has pain in his legs and does not feel well at all. Please pray for accurate diagnosis and recovery.
Please pray for Teddy who is 20 months old and currently in the NICU at Chrildren's Hospital. Teddy has had lots of health issues since birth and continues to struggle. He is a sweet boy and fighting hard but he needs our prayers. Teddy is the brother of my four year old grandson's friend. Thank you.
Please pray for Carroll Gathright III (my ex) for comfort and healing. He is a VietNam veteran and was exposed to Agent Orange. Over the years he had bladder cancer, a kidney removed and recently his thyroid removed. The Dr. said everything looks good and he will only need one chemo treatment which will be the first week in April. He is saved.
Please pray that I would receive healing for chronic back pain.
Please pray for Sherrie and me. My husband David passed away Tues. Feb 26, in Lawton, OK where Sherrie and I just moved back to VA from. He died of Liver failure after a diagnosis 4 days earlier of Hepatitis C. We are comforted by knowing that David is with our heavenly father. Thank you all for your prayers, Sherrie now has a job, she just hasn't started yet.
Please pray for Locke Cepak who has had a second concussion from playing sports. Also lift up the entire Cepak family that God's hand would rest upon them and strengthen them.
My former co-worker (which was shared earlier) has been diagnosed with brain cancer. She will be starting chemo and radiation very soon.

It has been one month today since I arrived here in Afghanistan. I am homesick, but I find comfort in my daily readings and the church family I have found here. The word of God has been powerful and has helped me focus and stay motivated through the stressful environment I work in daily. I ask that the Lord guide me on how to witness and hopefully influence the people around me while I am here. My husband and son await my return. Please pray for them and comfort them while I am away.
